Service Description

There are multiple organisations that offer places on their Spring/Summer courses. These are a great way to develop a dancer... may you want to gain more of an understanding of the ballet world outside your regular programme, or may it be to keep a training dancer ticking over that long summer stretch. I’m passionate about helping young dancers develop a strong portfolio that will propel them into the dance world. In todays society, we are often seeing dancers parents becoming dancers PA’s! Parents devote their time finding new opportunities such as training programmes, summer intensives and associate programmes. It can seem quite daunting having application papers to complete with certain photographs, all with specific requirements not only with positions, but with the dancer’s attire. Some request bare feet, others shoes and socks, certain leotard fits and pointe shoes, no pointe shoes! Then to confuse things further... the ballet positions are listed in French! With a strong classical background and years of experience preparing hundreds of Dancers’ portfolios, I try to take the stress out of applications. Being classically trained myself, placing and correcting the students while on shoot isn't a problem. The photoshoot experience is devoted to the individual dancer and discovering their strengths. We take time finding their longest leg, highest arch and flattest turnout. We'll work together to craft their most technically accurate shots, highlighting their personality and artistry. Please note: This package covers one application. Additional applications requiring additional images can be bolted onto the shoot with an additional charge of £15 per image required.
